Smoke-Free Patios

The Smoke-Free Ontario Act permits smoking on patios without roofs and on patios that are not fully enclosed.

If you are bothered by second-hand smoke while sitting on a restaurant or a bar patio, call the City of Ottawa at: 613-580-2400.

You can also contact your Member of Provincial Parliament. Tell your MPP that you want to enjoy patios without the smoke.
