The Ottawa Council on Smoking and Health is a coalition of: health agencies community organizations individuals Established in 1978, we are one of the oldest councils on smoking and health in Ontario. Our Position On A Smoke-free Bylaw (PDF).   WHAT ARE OUR GOALS? We aim to: create a social environment where non-smoking is the norm assist in establishing smoke-free environments prevent youth from starting to smoke encourage smokers to quit   WITH WHOM ARE WE AFFILIATED? We are one of 64 local councils that make up the Ontario Tobacco Free Network.   JOIN US! We welcome as members any group, individual, or organization that shares our goals.
