A resource and partner for more than 130 health, civic, corporate, youth and religious groups dedicated to reducing tobacco use among children. It is the largest non-government initiative ever launched to protect children from tobacco addiction and exposure to second-hand smoke. Good place to find a lot of articles and research on the fight against tobacco companies.

A Canadian site where you can follow the stories of four teens trying to quit smoking. Lots of interactive games and quizzes to take as you travel through.

Science, Tobacco & You
Creating a smarter "U" through science, Science, Tobacco & You is a multidisciplinary, multimedia, science curriculum resource. Its goal is to encourage students to use science to ask and answer questions. In this case, the medium used is the issue of tobacco use and prevention. Lots of information on tobacco farming, the environment and a virtual lab with a radiology, respiratory and hematology department. Tobacco related online games including crosswords, word searches, hangman and an interactive comic book.

Smoke Signals
Presented by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. Great site with e-cards to encourage loved ones to quit smoking. Also run competitions to create themed e-cards to help people quit smoking.

Surgeon General's Report for Kids on Smoking
Online smoke-free magazine contains facts about dangers and the effects of smoking on health. Has examples of what kids have done in the United States to combat cigarette advertising and make schools smoke-free.

The Truth: Site for information on tobacco industry

Youth 2 Youth: Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) on Tobacco Issues
